MEET OUR FOUNDER

CAITLYN LUBELL

Caitlyn loves helping others find their path and feels this is her true purpose in the world. A connector in her industry, who celebrates a hard day’s work over a delicious cocktail, she founded BoozeBiz to bring together her passions for mentorship, connection, and the booze industry into perfect harmony.

Read More About Caitlyn

Caitlyn has honed her knowledge of the service industry from personal experiences with the onset of her career at the tender age of 18 as a bartender. Yes, luckily in NY you only have to be 18 to tend bar. It was love at first pour and she has since worked her way through every tier of the 3 tier system (including all levels in hospitality from doorgirl to bartender to GM, supplier, importer, distributor) and has made many friends and lasting relationships along the way. She has an extensive background in business development, sales consulting, and brand growth, with a focus on client satisfaction particularly within the wine and spirits industry.

She has been there, she has done that, and she understands what you do every day to be successful.  She can talk the talk which makes explaining your hiring needs or new role dreams an easy and comfortable conversation.

On the wholesale side she has worked in sales for over 15 years including starting at a family owned distributor, Paramount/Eber Bros, as a sales consultant, then held multiple positions in management for Southern Wine & Spirits for 5 years, and then spent over 10 years with Ste. Michelle Wine Estates helping grow the portfolio in the NY market.  She knows how it feels to pull a wine bag in the snow through Times Square and lose her voice on day 3 of NYCWFF. This is what truly sets her apart from other Recruiters – she gets it, she did it, she sold it, she worked with all departments from Marketing to Winemakers to Operations, and then some. She speaks the booze industry language which helps her truly connect the right people with the RIGHT jobs.  Following her time in sales, she became an agency Executive Recruiter for the restaurant industry with the Forbes Top Ranked Recruiting Firm, Gecko Hospitality (who she still partners with to this day to help restaurant and hospitality professions and businesses with their hiring) and Nelson Connects as a National Executive Recruiter for the Wine & Spirits Industry where she won Rookie of the Year in her first year with the company – rookie for them but certainly not for the booze industry.

Inherent to her style, Caitlyn is always looking for new ways to support friends and colleagues in their pursuit of happiness. She founded BoozeBiz to build on the work she was already performing for her beloved network, and never backs down from the challenges the industry presents. Timing is everything in life. After going through the stress of the pandemic when our industry was upside down, working for a leader in the hospitality industry through the pandemic helping restaurants rebuild their management teams and then national recruiting for the alcbev biz, she relaunched BoozeBiz as the stars aligned – a unique recruiting agency of industry experts helping our industry grow.

Her desire to promote and connect talent has helped cultivate the platform we are viewing today… BoozeBiz. She didn’t find recruiting…recruiting found her.

Caitlyn resides in Midtown Manhattan and when she’s not working to help YOU and/or your company, you can find her cycling along a river, devising healthy recipes at home in her apartment, or enjoying all “the city that never sleeps” has to offer with her friends and family.  She has found her dream job – now it’s time for her to help you find yours!

Favorite Boozy Bev: Hot Toddy (with Spanish Brandy, of course) & unique full bodied white wines.  Anyone who has ever met Caitlyn knows that declaring just one favorite beverage just wasn’t an option.

MEET OUR TEAM

KAYLA O'NEILL

Sr. National Recruiter & Systems Manager

Kayla’s beverage industry career started behind the bar at some of the busiest college bars near Arizona State University and throughout Scottsdale, Arizona. After gaining firsthand hospitality experience, she joined Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits as an On-Premise Sales Representative, where she spent the remainder of her twenties building brands, developing customer relationships, and immersing herself in the wine, spirits, and beer industry.

In 2022, Kayla was ready for a new challenge. Recruiting proved to be a natural fit. With a genuine passion for helping people grow their careers and achieve their goals, she quickly found success connecting great talent with great opportunities. Still, something felt missing—she missed the beverage industry she knew so well.

That’s where BoozeBiz came in.

Today, as Senior National Recruiter & Systems Manager at BoozeBiz, Kayla combines her deep industry knowledge, extensive network, and recruiting expertise to help both candidates and clients find the right fit. She understands firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with building a career in beverage, making her a trusted partner throughout the hiring process.

Kayla resides in sunny Arizona with her dog, Lilly. When she’s not recruiting, you’ll find her training for her next race, spending weekends on the lake, traveling, or exploring the local food and cocktail scene. One conversation with Kayla and it’s easy to see why so many professionals trust her with their next career move. Her approachable personality, strong organizational skills, and industry experience make her a valued resource and advocate for everyone she works with.

Favorite Boozy Bev: It depends on the mood, but you’ll usually find Kayla enjoying a perfectly made Manhattan or an ice-cold craft beer.

BRITTANY GERROW

Brand Marketing & Social Media Manager

Brittany has spent her entire career in hospitality, customer service, and the beverage industry. From restaurants to bartending, she quickly fell in love with the fast-paced, people-first nature of the industry and wanted to dive deeper. She began working as a Brand Ambassador for multiple wine and spirit brands, where she soaked up knowledge and made invaluable connections along the way. When the opportunity arose to build and lead her own team of Brand Ambassadors- working closely on marketing for major beverage clients- Brittany jumped at the chance. Over the past 7 years in promotional marketing, she’s gained hands-on experience that naturally led her into the world of marketing & operations. (It’s also where she met CL 😉)

Her passion for creating, connecting, boozy bevs, and the business itself continues to drive her forward. It’s what makes BoozeBiz & Brittany a perfect pairing!

Brittany lives in New York with her spirited “threenager”. When shes not busy momming it, you can find her planning a  weekend getaway, where can explore a new place and unwind with a beverage.

Favorite Boozy Bev: Sangria or a Margarita on the Rocks… don’t make her choose!

MIRISE LUBELL

Finance & HR Manager

Mirise comes from a family of innovators and small business owners and brings over a decade of finance and business management experience with her to BoozeBiz. Watching her grandfather, father, and now her cousin Caitlyn run their own successful ventures throughout her life, Mirise has always admired the dedication and tenacity required to run a small business. Since 2016 she has overseen the daily operations of her family’s small tech company after her father, the company’s founder and CEO, sadly passed away. In 2025 Caitlyn approached Mirise to gauge her interest in extending some of her business skills to BoozeBiz. Excited by the new opportunity Mirise said yes, and she now also manages the finances, payroll, tax preparation and employee onboarding processes for BoozeBiz. With a keen eye and an unwavering attention to detail she flourishes behind the scenes to help things run smoothly and efficiently.

Mirise is also an alcohol enthusiast. She has bartended at numerous small-scale pop-ups and events in NY, WA, CO and beyond. She and her husband run a craft cocktail bar at the annual Burning Man festival each year, serving alcohol, simple syrups and liqueurs infused with unique flavors from their homegrown herb and vegetable garden. She also travels as often as she can, sipping, savoring and researching regional boozy beverages around the world. From tobala right from the mezcalero in Oaxaca, to txakoli in the Basque region of Spain, viche in Colombia, chacha and saperavi in the Republic of Georgia, Mirise seeks out new (to her), fun, funky and original flavors that ignite her palate.

When she isn’t crunching numbers or combing through spreadsheets (or traveling abroad), you can find her biking, skiing, rafting or backpacking around the beautiful state of Colorado that she calls home.

Favorite Boozy Bev: Smokey, sour and bitter are Mirise’s go-tos. A nice Mezcal cocktail or amaro sour always does the trick!

Brittany Campion

Connection Coordinator

Brittany began her beverage industry career right out of college as a Corporate Communications intern at Pernod Ricard USA. From there, she joined Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits as a Project Manager in Marketing Services, partnering with sales and brand teams to create point-of-sale and sales materials for brands including Yellow Tail, Josh Cellars, Redemption Whiskey, and Licor 43.

After spending time at WWE as a Brand Coordinator, Brittany returned to the beverage world at Next Level Marketing, where she managed brand ambassadors and on- and off-premise sampling programs for brands such as Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Boston Beer Company. She later joined Winebow Imports as Brand Manager for its Italian wine portfolio, overseeing marketing for more than 100 suppliers—including Kris Pinot Grigio and Zardetto Prosecco. Her work spanned sales materials, POS, social media, influencer programs, and digital advertising across industry publications. She also gained firsthand sales experience as a representative for a craft beer distributor in Westchester and Putnam counties.

Today, as Connection Coordinator, Brittany draws on her extensive beverage background and industry relationships to support business development and create meaningful connections. With experience spanning communications, marketing, brand management, experiential programming, and sales, she understands the industry from many different angles and knows how to bring the right people and opportunities together.

Brittany lives in Westchester, New York, with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs. When she’s not making connections, you’ll find her spending time with her family, heading to the beach, reading, or listening to a podcast.

Favorite Boozy Bev: Why choose just one when you can drink with the seasons? A Margarita in summer, pumpkin beer with a rim in fall, an Espresso Martini in winter, and Rosé in spring..
